The MOMS Foundation
(Mothers of Many Seasons)

Tell the next generation the wonderful deeds God has done, so they put their trust in God.  — Psalm 78:4,8

The MOMS Foundation is established to share the MOMS ministry outreach in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ one woman, one family, one community at a time. MOMS Foundations provides an opportunity to reach your community for Christ. The program, support and prayers are provided to start a MOMS program at your church or within your community. Groups will be established foundationally to the core biblical principles of MOMS, but allowed freedom to be their own fragrance of Christ.

Three STEPS in the MOMS planting program:

Step 1 – Pray, organize, plan with start-up kit

Step 2 – Set up a consulting meeting. Meet with The MOMS Foundation team to answer questions. Schedule and visit a MOMS Live!

Step 3 – With growth, (after 6 months to a year) receive a comprehensive guidebook download with examples and tips on keeping an established group healthy. This download contains everything      needed for a well established MOMS group.

~ VISIT a MOMS Live! ~

To kick-start your MOMS plant process we highly recommend and invite your MOMS leadership team to come experience and catch the vision of MOMS in action.

Recommendation by Pastor Andrew Wild from River Oaks Community Church:

Approximately ten years ago, God stirred a passion in Sarah Bush to minister to the women of our community. Today, that passion has evolved into a thriving ministry that evangelizes, encourages, and equips the women of our community on a weekly basis. We call it MOMS, which stands for Mothers of Many Seasons, and this multi-generational gathering of women is a vital component of our church’s discipleship strategy. MOMS has expanded the front door of the church while providing mothers of all ages with the opportunity to laugh together, cry together, and carry each other’s burdens as they navigate the various stages of motherhood. This is an entirely lay-leader led ministry that grooms its own leaders. When I meet mothers who are new to the community, I encourage them to check out MOMS and I would encourage your church to do the same.

“Wondering what MOMS is all about? MOMS is…. “

M.O.M.S. (Mothers of Many Seasons)

Purpose Verse:

“He tends his flock like a shepherd:  He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.”  Isaiah 40:11

Missions Statement:

The MOMS program is an outreach designed to meet the growing needs of women by maturing their faith and by helping them to love their husbands and raise their children in the ways of the Lord. Women of all seasons of life, some young, some more experienced, are invited to come for a morning of fellowship, breakfast and biblical teaching. Children are an integral part of this ministry and will be cared for in a wholesome, loving environment, with Bible lessons, crafts and games.

“Thursday mornings have become one of my favorite times of the week and something I look forward to. On bad weeks, I count down to it! Not only have I made new friends, but it is a safe place to ask questions, both “mom” questions and spiritual/personal questions. I feel loved and safe there and have learned so much. The leaders are so friendly and helpful, and no matter what season of motherhood you are in, there is someone there who has been there and can help you, or who is in it too and can identify with what you’re going through.” — Stephanie Royal

The MOMS Foundation answers the great commission by training churches and providing resources to develop a MOMS ministry.

People ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth… from which true godliness springs.1 Timothy 3:15-16
