What Have You Been Thinking About?

Ps. 48:9 We thought of your steadfast love in the midst of your temple.

This week as I have more time on my hands to think releasing my manuscript to an editor and waiting for a response, I was challenged to think about what I am thinking about in Joyce Meyer’s book, Battlefield of the Mind. As I continue on my journey of publishing,and speaking before others, I am more and more certain that I will have to filter my thoughts with the Truth as people respond to my new calling in a variety of ways.

Do you think about what is true or what might happen…or what someone might have thought about you? God is working on my “preconceived ideas” especially about what others might think. As an author, I know I will need to prepare my mind and  heart to only listen to what I know to be true. I know to keep my mind on God’s unfailing love.

What are you in the midst of? I am learning in the midst of waiting for a book to be published and the winding road ahead, of all the whens, wheres, whys and hows…to think of HIs steadfast love for me, trusing that all roads lead to His heart.
